I planned to purchased 300-500 GH/s and therefore I've evaluated this a bit and would like to share my opinion. Please note, I'm NOT saying that this is a scam. I'm trying to be as "un-judgemental" as possible.

1. To me personally, after I saw the pictures and read the advertisements that were posted in this thread, I was convinced that this is a Russia-based (or in a Russian-speaking country) operation. I'm not saying this might be bad or anything, but it will become relevant a bit later in this posting.

2. If you do a whois for the domain, you will see that a person called Tina is the owner of the domain, with an address in Germany.

3. Uses hotmail.com eMail address. hotmail.com (if you use the web-frontend for mailing) does not transmit the senders IP address in the eMail header.

4. I got in touch via Skype. The official Skype account of Alpha Miners belongs to Tina. In her Skype profile she says she's located in Singapore.

5. I asked where they are located, the answer was: data center in China, support in Singapore.

6. I asked whether she is Russian, the answer was no.

7. I asked why the domain is registered on a German address. She said because she is located in Germany.

8. When I asked whether she is located in Germany, she said she is not currently in Germany and they only provide support in English after I asked (in German) whether she speaks German.

9. I checked how she connects to the internet and she's using the popular VPN service hidemyass.com with an IP address in Lithuania.

10. I asked whether she will send me her national ID after I purchased, she said yes.

11. I asked whether we can make a video call via Skype (my intent was to see if there's really a girl sitting on the other end), she said she cannot speak with customers, and management requires that communication is only via web-messaging.

12. I wrote that with so many countries (Singapore, Russia, Germany but doesn't speak German, China data center, VPN service in Lithuania) it sounded a bit fishy to me. The answer was that she understood my concerns but that they are an international team.

That's it.
