I'm ten merits shy of 1,500 (less my gifted original one thousand) means I am close to "ranking up" as a Hero Member for a second time around. 
As far as I can see, you have created and maintain a useful thread spotting "known alts of anyone", so maybe you will earn 1000 merits in the future. Now you are 5 merits closer to become a "Self-made Hero Member". Good luck!
I haven't counted the number of merits for quite a while now, but it comes in at 113 merits just for the OP of the Known Alts thread (there's a handful of other posts in that thread I've picked up merits for). People have been very generous and it inspires me to keep investigating & maintaining the thread.
