Motivation require both the learning and the implementation. I have seen people attending motivational lectures and are motivated to do things in life. But later they forget about them. There could be many reason for this and biggest reason is the failure in achieving what is desired. There will be hurdles in success, so if you are disappointed in the beginning you won't be able to achieve your goal. At that moment a motivational speech or video can help us regain the momentum.
