This is a work in progress.
Question? IS self outbidding allowed? Because this enable users to bid even if they are already highest bidders.
It is a technique used by bidders to overwhelm other bidders that has been used centuries after centuries.. I know in many auctions' settings, self outbidding is allowed. There is also a technique used that allows bidders to set unknown preset amount so that other bidders have to keep biding until they reach that unknown preset bid amount.
The whole thing has to do with phycology. It is also good for sellers so they can get the optimum result out of the auction. It also make the item competitive and locative to bidders.
I am not sure if there is a preset implied rule that this cannot be done. But now this is the rule (no outbidding allowed) I will play with traditional bidding.
Can you please add this in the "AUCTIONS/WTS ETIQUETTE" so that all new comers are aware of this.
Cheers!, Rainbowsky.
