Hello, it indeed is a team drive that you get your address to. However, as you can infer from the excellent reviews, the .edu accounts I use are far from being quickly dying. Besides, I clearly state to all potential buyers that if they do care about their data, they should get 2 drives and use one as a backup. As such, I've never got any complaint about lost data and very rarely faced drives suddenly dying. There's a lot of .edu accounts available but I know how to select the best ones.
