The type or kind of project depends on each person's risk appetite so for a conservative investor like me i will stick to the top coins only. I only buy other coins when i see almost ideal situation or if i get paid in them otherwise i take most other coins seem very risky to me maybe because of huge losses during last bears season.
Investing in the top coins in the market is a safe option, but it often pays off with a small return. Most of the leading currencies in the market have small increases or decreases, investors with little experience and safety should choose this way.
Personally, I also invest in some of the top coins in the market, although the profit it brings is not much, but I am satisfied with that.
