OP registered in August 2020 and is now a full-blown scam buster familiar with a rule like the one above, which I suspect most members who've been here 2 months wouldn't have a clue about.

And it's a pretty well-known fact that sites like Coingecko and CMC don't do a great job vetting coins/projects/whatever.  I don't see how they could, unless they had a full-time staff whose task it was to analyze the facts and data that they receive on a daily basis and check everything for veracity.
