Coinmarket cap rank doesn't really matter for long term investor but don't focus on the prices alone while investing just look at all the factors about the project, mainly the coin has any real usage, if yes then you can hold them. And don't forget the rule never put all the eggs in same basket so diversify your capital into different coins and get stable portfolio for long term investment to recover the money you lost earlier.
