theymos, can you provide a reference for that? It's not an intuitive result.

EDIT: to be clear, once accepted into the blockchain BLOCKTIME or UNIXTIME would return the block number/timestamp of the accepting block. I thought that would be obvious, but just noticed it hasn't been explicitly said by anyone. Does that fix the issue you are referring to?
