Personally, I think that there are still no regulations on the issue of smart contracts. On the one hand, with globalization, the implementation of smart contracts will be possible everywhere.
Regulation is not something that actually needed by the smartcontract, the smartcontract itself has become an agreement between the contract and the creator or users of the contract itself.
Smartcontract can be used for anything especially to the issuance of the new assets called ERC20 token.
But the synchronization of legislation will be a major obstacle. What if you use a smart contract in several countries.
I don't think we will see as smartcontract is still focused to be adopted in the financial sector because it can become a various things like security/utility coins, NFT, DEFI, asset issuance as a replacement for the security stock and many more.
