@leea, LFC, Xavo: I try not to judge people, least of all sportspeople, but yeah it's not his fault he gets paid so much (is it?) like it wasn't Sanchez's fault at United... but I suppose it's just the way he rubs off people the wrong way with some things he does and says. But yeah, it's things like this that make us worry about the spirit of the game. Granted, mascot with no crowds isn't needed but surely they could have put him on some kind of furlough, tradition and history are important to some clubs. There'd be riots if we fired ours... but as far as I know we don't have a mascot... I know there was this Liver Bird but it was more like a kid's thing for special match days... don't recall seeing it when I visited Anfield but maybe a proper attending fan like LFC_Bitcoin can confirm that!
