I don't think that Binance aims to replace Ethereum, it can be a good competitor but I don't think that it's possible to replace Ethereum network now. Binance chain is still too young and though it makes a lot of efforts to take away some part of Ethereum users it still can't deal with high load. As an example the API of BSC wasn't able to cope with a high number of visits on DegoFinance today. But anyway it's good that we have some alternative blockchains like BSC.
