Where "video-id" is the random-looking thingy from a Youtube URL. So like this:
On mobile, it's way more difficult. You have to edit the URL, then manipulate the BBcodes to incorporate both image and the URL.
Not to mention it's easier for users to clickbait (e.g. Rickroll).
