Every now and then we keep hearing about things like this, about a certian blockchain beating Ethereum, or a certain platform coming up with better services to replace Ethereum and so on, and yet at the long run Ethereum will still keep standing and not only that but continues to grow. Therefore having seen many case scenarios like this, I can still say it again that no blockchain currently can replace that of Ethereum and the earlier most people understand that, the better for them.
On the other hand, it is worthy to point out that the Binance team are trying everything possible to ensure that their platform continues to grow as well as beating others. Also, I think it's too early to start judging how successful the Binance Smart Chain will be, let's give it time and see what happens but taking into account how experienced the Binance team are, there is every tendency the Smart Chain will be a success.
