Using bots on exchanges has nothing to do with scamming and even you can create your own bot and use it easily to catch the best prices since bots can execute orders way faster than a real person and even if you are really fast in placing orders you still will be behind in comparison, it's not against the rules at all to use bots and automated trading tools to trade and place orders and traders usually use them specially when they are sleep or have no access to the exchange/internet or busy somewhere else, that being said if you are not a very short-term or day trader and you buy a coin and sell for example a week/month later or sth you don't need them much anyway and they are mostly used for scalp trading, short-term trading and leveraged trading.
