Most likely this will be the case unless someone will turn them on with some enough information to proved the accusations but most of the time they choose not to talk because the reason is so obvious. once they blew it, their life will be in danger and there will be no free will anymore. since this is not really important, they choose not to talk and let this thing slide especially when they get some cash from zippering their mouth.
