And some robbers could have just taken a hardware wallet without knowing what it is, to figure out later, or maybe they would have though that it's some sort of USB drive with valuable data?
Pretty stupid robbers, that's if we believe the story, a trezor is easy to carry, and even if they did mistake it for something else it was still an easy to carry gadget that could have got them a few $ once sold, easy to carry and easy to dispose of if found to be useless. Actually, now that I think of, my emergency laptop I take on vacation just to read some stuff and maybe send some mail and I couldn't care less if it gets stolen or I drop it in a pool is barely twice the price of my 256 memory stick.
