unfortunately currently mining is absolutely prohibitive, perhaps if you have "free" electricity you can mine Xmr with an adequate CPU but we are at a very low profit. Absolutely avoid mining with laptops and the like because in addition to going negative as a profit you risk like me years ago to damage it, really isn't worth it
