Nothing new and even not on a pandemic situation, we've been seeing this kind of scamming attempts back in the past who are just masking out to do charitable works but actually they are just trying to scam out people.
Its really too hard to trust nowadays yet we have known on how schemes do happen on where pretending to be the good guy and trying to deceive since people are naturally merciful to those who are indeed and which these
scammers do use up that weakness for their advantage which do really sucks.For Op, you wont gain or receive anything on this forum if you havent shown any proofs on this one.
if you want to help, it's better to make a donation in an organization that is trusted and proven to do real work, and I really believe there must be in every country, rather than making a donation here it will only make their stomachs big

On topic, I had checked back the site and it seems that they haven't able to fool out someone with their so called charity activity,.
Already lots of projects like this had been busted out which are really just tending to scam out people.
