Probably not bad decision. If you are BitMex trader you may have the opportunity to leverage the income from investment into DOT as that exchange gonna to add DOT into its "quanto futures contracts." This is expected to happen at the end of year and apart of that  they said "PolkaBTC set to go live in 2021" which will add more value to DOT itself
