I did noticed predicting football is not easy, that is why betting company can not go bankrupted, people always stake and either gain or lose, but most people do lose. That is why we should only take betting for fun, and using only the funds that we can afford to lose to bet, and not also be addicted.
I would say don't get attached to your bets if you are betting based on luck or have not skills, experience or knowledge. The attachment is part of what causes the addiction. And the 'fun' is part of what get people attached/addicted. It wont be a good idea to get attached to something you are not consistently profitable in. The profits/benefits shouldn't be in prize money alone. They could come inform of things like good knowledge and skills that's can be applied in real world or other areas of life.
When you bet, always have it in your mind that you may not be lucky... and don't bother yourself with the outcome of the bets. Bet what you can afford to lose/risk so you don't get bothered too much if you are not lucky.
