Never expect any big boom in ETH 2.0
Do never expect any big boom in ETH 2.0 since it is just a utility token which is just created for the transaction purpose, even if ethereum add the smart contracts facility on ETH 2.0 then how many people will create their blockchain apps on it? We already having ETH Classic which is not performing well.
I disagree on your point, ETH2.0 isn't only about transactions like you claim, the platform is switching to proof of stake and that's new, many whales are waiting for this opportunity, many prefer staking over mining, I don't expect Ethereum to spike up to 2000$ with this but believe me Ethereum will get better
