The pool operators and current node operators will have enough time to prep. This also gives us enough time to get everything ready for when we do launch mainnet like all the correct information where it needs to be, guides are made, binaries are built and much more. We want this to go as smooth as possible and by allowing 2 weeks extra prep time gives us the opportunity to do so
