bitcoin is still bitcoin, its value and popularity will not decrease. because the parent crypto name cannot be shifted. while the interest in altcoin popularity is counted only in terms of current trends, which will eventually fade back and disappear. Haven't we seen a lot of how various kinds of altcoins have sprung up. in fact, the higher the bitcoin pump, the lower the pump from altcoins.
Some altcoins are following the price pump of bitcoin but this time it seems bitcoin alone stand out. Thats why we have alts season like early of 2018 wherein most alts are soaring high while bitcoin experience correction after the 2017 bullrun.
Well lets just enjoy for a while the price increase of bitcoin and wait for alts to do the same. If the alts you hold is established then there's nothing to worry because it wont turn as shitcoin.
