I think it is obvious the state is attacking bitcoin on all fronts.  A coordinated barrage from media and "hackers", a perfect storm so to speak.  In my opinion their main objective is to obtain significant BTC holdings so as to exert control-seeing as much control was denied them by the protocol.  This is why we see them holding the for coins and going after exchanges.  If you value bitcoin, keep your coins off exchanges-deny the opportunity.
