I think with 4 year cycle it'll more like 2016, when BTC's price reach $1k after crashed from $1300 in 2013. And now we have BTC at $15k, its ATH is not far away. But I think the market will develop more steadily.
Literal sense makes you think that the market should perform like 2016 but the market is going in a direction which is hard to comprehend as i was not expecting it break this much resistance in a short period of time, i was expecting this valuation by the end of this year. I am curious to see whether the market will cross the all time high valuation sooner than expected if the market continues to perform like this.
Look at altcoins marketcap and BTC Dominance chart, I don't think the altcoin season will return, as it has ended since September. Maybe the growth of altcoins over the last few days has been just a Dead Cat Bounce. Now that it's almost the end of the year, I think BTC will still rise, and altcoins we have to wait until next year.
