31 years already! I was there, on the wall when it happened. I even have a piece of it that I managed to pry out of it by moving around one of the reinforcing steel thingies (that wall was hard as hell, we first tried to hammer out a piece, didn't work).
We saw it happening on TV and got in to a friends car and drove down to the ferries to east Germany, and some hours later we were there. great memories.
