SWC's rake is currently some of the highest in the industry if BTC is at or above $15,000. The current rake schedule at SWC was set on Sept 29th when BTC was $10,700. At $15,000 and with the current/identical rake schedule, that's a 40% rake increase in USD. At $14,000 and with the current rake schedule, that's a 31% rake increase in USD.


At 15k BTC, heads up has become a massive rake trap with the following caps at some of the higher limit and no limit game that consistently hit the cap:

limit 100/200 to 200/400 HU rake cap = .68 USD
limit 300/600 to 500/1000  HU rake cap = .90 USD
limit 1000/2000 and up HU rake cap = 1.35 USD

no limit 25/50 to 100/200 HU rake cap = 1.35 USD
no limit 200/400 and up HU rake cap = 1.88 USD


The higher end of the industry standard rake would be 50 cents to $1 for limit and $1 to $1.50 for no limit. SWC is substantially above this. To make SWC even less competitive, some of these other sites offer 25% plus in rakeback as a new player while SWC only offers 5%. I don't think rake this high is conducive to getting games started.
