Because if you bet on trump then it will take awhile with all the debunking of the evidence they are putting out of false/grasping of straws allegation of voter fraud. Trumps legal team claimed one instance of evidence they had was of a democratic voter ripping up ballots showing votes for trump on them.
Yet it was determined to be a video published on tik tok which was "You have been punk'd" intended to the show if trump's lawyers would take the bait. And they certainly did and ran with it.

national geographic? Are you kidding me? The Presidential winner doesn't have to concede accordingly to the US Constitution. Also as many users already pointed out in this thread, Trump has not conceded so why biden bettors have received the early payout? But if Trump wins and Biden doesn't concede that would be an unfair rule upon Trump bettors, this is quite clear why it should be removed. The rules are laid in the Law and 270+ electoral college votes resulting from official results certified by each state of the union. This is politics not sports. National Geographic is bs
