Re: PCI-E Riser not detecting GPU

Hi,

i have the same problem, i have 1060 6GB zotac with micron, when i put it on the motherboard directly, they works fine (if i plug in hdmi cable), BUT, if i put the gpu on any riser, and i try a lot risers and i was chcecked cables and all things then.. i was on end, nothing worked.. please help me. I mining about 2 years with THESE ONE gpu must be on the mobo.
My consideration is = an error is on the GPU, but where? what do you recommend me to solve this interesting problem?

What operating system is installed on your farm?
You can try to install this video card on any other farm.
If the problem is in the video card, then you can try to update the BIOS

I have OS Windows, unfortunately i had only this one farm.
Do you mean update BIOS on GPU?

If you have 1 farm and 1 video card you need to install in your motherboard, then let it work like this and do not interfere with the farm bringing you profit.
I would start doing BIOS firmware only after I was 100% sure that the problem was in the video card.
