We can see the new surge of bitcoin in crypto market . It exceed $10K again and I believe many are earning now especially those with holding during the downtrend of bitcoin. But,to what extent bitcoin will raise more today?

What are the reason behind the rise of bitcoin?
Edit: Sorry for putting a wrong number on the value of bitcoin, I didn't mean it. It is just above $10K and not $500K.
I wrote this topic just for discussion in order to know the opinion and knowledge of everyone.
Well, currently Bitcoin is now hovering around $15k USD even touches the $16k USD mark so I don't think it will be the same as what happened 2 years ago but rather I think we are getting the track as what we have way back in 2017. If this continues until the last month then there's a probability that we will witness the new ATH before the end of this year or in the first quarter of 2021.
I cannot think of any reason why Bitcoin is increasing but I have I think it should be because PayPal now accepts the purchase, sell and even hold of cryptocurrencies. Besides, a lot of big companies are now venturing with this technology.
