unfortunately that is not proof of anything. case and point they added shitcoins alongside bitcoin. for example we all know bcash is a fraudulent project, ethereum is centralized and mutable, Tether is owned by a shady company that has never been able to prove the tokens they keep printing is backed by actual USD,... and yet they added them to their platform just like any other cryptocurrency exchange would just for the profit.
In my opinion Paypal doesn't exactly do everything for profit. If they thought about profits in the first place, why didn't they choose Bitcoin early? I think they went through the analysis of the crowd's needs as well as Bitcoin to make this bold decision.
We all know Paypal is the most reputable international payment channel and they must also choose reputable currencies to serve their platform. Therefore, providing the service of buying / selling Bitcoin is also an indirect way of saying that Bitcoin is reputable.
