I agree with all that was said, but I really like the odds on Thiem. He'll probably want to win to keep the momentum, he has more reason to play for the win than Rublev.
He's also a better player and is currently in better form. I expected the odds would be something like 1.40-1.45, so will definitely take advantage of the 1.65+ odds.
All true, but tennis is a momentum game and player has to have will to plow trough bad patches and turn momentum back in his favour. Let's say Thiem looses first set in tie break, would he have the mental strength to fight or would he just choose easy way and lose in 2 sets?
If this was normal KO match I would still believe in Thiem but in these circumstances I would favour Rublev much more.
I think I will bet on this match live and try to capitalize if some opportunity presents itself.
Zverev won today but he did not pass the eye test for me. I am betting on Djoko for sure in that match. Probably some big handicap.
