Gambling looks like an entertainment because it is usually attached to a sport or game, but since it involves losing or gaining, it is no more entertaining to the losing side, it is more of a business in such way become only few and quite rich gambler just do it for the fun of it, as in to arouse the opponents seriousness to the game. Most people generally, gamble to make gain.
it is true while you we're watching sports and the same time you bet on the side you want to win and it becomes entertainment also if you are playing with multiple player than playing solo we it's kinda boring and yet of course if you keep losing emotion will come and the more eagerness to play more because we all want to get back what we already lose. But if it okay to us to win the it is really fun to lose money as long as it make us happy.
Fun to lose money? Are you kidding ? It can be fun if you have a lot of money and you have no interest in money. If you see gambling as really fun, then you do gamble within certain rules. There will be a certain amount of money for your gambling, even if you lose, you will not gamble more than that certain amount. And if you continue to gamble even after you lose and gamble more to recover that money, and lose more money again. that's not fun, you're in the first stages of gambling addiction.
It's just crazy to think that we are having fun when we are losing money in gambling, the fun there is when we are winning and even if we are so rich, we still look for some satisfaction in gambling, and that only happens when we are winning. The only difference is that if we are rich, we can gamble money that we can afford to lose, while people who struggle financially may not enjoy when they gamble as they can't afford to lose what they are gambling.
