With SAM the 6800 is best performance per $ in gaming at present, but meh for mining.
Yeah, nothing can beat that, plus rx 6800 xt 30 watts or so less than rtx 3800 and yet very close in performance, I guess cache really did wonders here. I see 3080 better only in 4k/mining eth and nothing else, if people game on 1440 or lower then the rx 6800 xt is the wise choice here.
Streamers etc. can utilize better features on Nvidia. Raw game performance wise 6800XT seems to be the card for gamers up to 1440p.
