I know it's a bad thing but gambling addiction is your own decision and the only thing that can help you with this is yourself, lucky if you have the support of your families, and they will help you get rid of it. but when you don't have it, you need to help your self.because there is no one else who can help you but yourself in any kind of addiction.
I couldn't agree more. It's about self awareness, in order to prevent gambling addiction, we must have that. We are all aware about what we can get in gambling in the long run, it's either profits or gambling addiction, and we even knew when we got addicted in gambling but chose to ignore it and continue betting, and that's the problem that raise another problem that often led to what OP had mentioned.
First, I think mental health is the target of emotional stress that's being cause by gambling addiction, that the victim last thought is to kill himself to end everything. Second is that he will be killed by someone that's been hired by the loanshark he was indebted with.
The lesson of the whole story is that we must be mentally and physically prepared to always defeat the urge of being addicted in gambling to avoid furthermore consequences.
