What's happening right now in the US isn't a conspiracy theory, it's an attempted coup. I wouldn't put the word conspiracy in it as it is done in plain sight. Fortunately it isn't working and Trump is finally starting to let go.

As for Russian involvement, there are plenty of credible sources that point out to more than "a few memes", it was an entire operation with at least dozens of full time paid trolls (who you could encounter on plenty of forums, on top of twitter and facebook, and comments on all sorts of websites), Russia isn't even denying it. Now what made the biggest difference is facebook's algorithms that could be exploited by said trolls, targeting people more likely to vote a certain way to convince them to either vote Trump, or stay home. Since then these algorithms have created basically a monster that isn't easily stopped.
