Marketing strategy is literally ''our project will be see great, we won't have to reach to the people - they will come to us''. Same with listing DO to decent exchange: ''they (exchanges) will ask US to let them list our project''.
There is no actual marketing except decent graphics and pretending that something is still happening in that area: worthless ''mentions'', pointless attempts to list DO for free on low tier exchanges that usually ends with few dozen votes vs hundreds coming from more consolidated community-wise projects, calling ''community'' to action. Problem is, community is dead, it is handful of people and devs right now, compared to early days when this coin had MASSIVE marketing thanks to signature campaign. Given how things are, I doubt segwit will change things for better,
