As you've mentioned it does give an error. I've installed the extension you mentioned but still to no avail. The balance is not showing in the wallet, although it is showing as completed in the explorer.

Yes, such a bug exists in official Bitgesell Explorer API, we use it to get balance and list of transactions (this is needed to send a new transaction).
Emma please check and fix this bug.
