Cats, for me. They are somewhat intelligent mammals that would always ask for love and food from their owners, not to mention being very cute most of the times. Their curiosity towards anything interests me, and their feeling of royalty towards themselves around the house is funny but majestic. I find it fun that they'd always choose the highest place from the ground to take a nap. However, they are not hunting rats, the big ones, which I usually see done by dogs in the area. I also love dogs for their sense of activeness, loyalty, and affection towards the owner, for I did had some dogs throughout my life.
