The shitty thing is, I just realized that now my profile looks as if I'm a pré-Merit member who's never succeeded in getting more than 8 Merits during his entire membership on these boards.

This is really getting out of hand.
The sig campaign I'm currently in won't make me rich, even at Legendary rank, so I don't really care about Merits for the money. I guess they're rather some kind of a confirmation that shows you're "not one of the spammers". Which is nice.

I try to get into nice paying campaigns (and dreaming of the chipmixer one) and doing that leads you to look at the profile of other members, clearly there are spammers/shitposters with thousands of merits. I'm not saying all my posts on the forum are merit worthy but to get in the thousands, sometimes with accounts barely a couple years old, and not participating here, there is clearly some merit farming going on. I mean some of them can barely string an English sentence together.
