You comment doesn't make sense. Cables are inexpensive and I got new one long and is working.
There is no point in delivering bad cable that don't work. If we using your common sense than they should add few dollars to the price and give us some hq that works.

You are really making a big thing out of nothing.... There is absolutely no problem with the device and the software protecting your coins. I have had several hardware wallets, including the Trezor and I had no problems with it.
Also... Trezor the company might have signed a contract with a hardware manufacturer or supplier to supply these cables to them and only a small percentage of these cables might have failed. (1 or 2 batches out of the millions they make)
Calm down.... get in contact with the company and file a complaint and you might even get a new cable for your effort. (If you are to stingy to fork out a few dollars for another cable on your own)
