That is actually what I ever experienced, losing more, and gaining less in gambling. That is why I quit gambling. Because until now, I am still confused about how to be in the gambling well. I tried to learn about the strategy of betting and the game that I participated in. But I fact, I still lost more. I feel so dumb 
It's a very good thing that you stopped in time. The real fact is, no strategy exists that can always make you win in long run and that is why casinos make profit in the long run and you lose. If there was a strategy that would make you win, casinos would have banned using such strategies. Along with the fact that we are human beings with unlimited greed, we never stop till we lose it all
best is to stop rather than chasing losses as we will ened up losing more!They only search for the fun thing and they can get it from gambling games.
But unfortunately, they can not stop right away after getting a win or loss because they think it will be more fun if they can play for more rounds.
People who have greed will not stand a long time gambling because they will lose their money on the gambling table.
So that is right if gamblers lose more money than to win the money because the tempt of gambling will always whisper in their ears.
The only gambler who can control themselves and not being greedy will survive and maybe they can get their win.
