When you talk about Bitcoin first thing which most of us thinks either it's a get rich quick scheme or an investment scheme. Did Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin as an investment scheme? No, it was supposed to be a peer to peer payment transaction across borders without involvement expensive money exchangers or regulators but it has been turned into an investment scheme, where are we heading ? Yes little by little Bitcoin has been moving from a P2P into an investment tool.
Now people who have Bitcoin doesn't want to use it as a payment anymore it is an investment to them as long as they could use Fiat they would hold their Bitcoin.
Back in the old days before the great pump in 2017 people would use it as a currency or most of us wouldn't care if we would use it for payment and most of us are looking forward on using it as just like a regular currency.
