I agree that is why I don't trust those predictions that do not have a sound logic on why the price will go to that level in Cryptocurrency market prediction is a hard game to play, you're lucky if you bet on the closest one, but it's hard to hit the right target.
This is the market, price is volatile and one thing you have to do when investing is to make other plans when price will declined. Were close to end of this year and I don't think btc will crash to $10k, the current price makes possible to hit $20k. If this will continue to climb in the market it is a positive sign to touch ath. Yes, predictions is predictions no one can say the exact price but let's observe the trend where it will heading.
