[Gewinnspiele] Danksagungen und Glückwünsche = Low Quality Posts ?
Im Collectible Bereich bin ich heute auf einen Hinweis von minerjones gestoßen, das durch den Global-Mod "mprep" mittels eines Tools/Bot Danksagungen und Glückwünsche herraus gefiltert und gelöscht werden wenn der Dank nicht vom Gewinner des Gewinnspiels stammt.
mprep äußerte sich im Meta dazu auch selbst
Er nimmt dabei verständlicherweise Bezug auf die Regel 1 der Forenrichtlinien
Jetzt haben wir ja auch hier im deutschen Bereichhin und wieder öfters mal ein schönes Gewinnspiel und auch bei uns gibt es Posts welche dem Gewinnspielveranstalter danken oder dem Sieger gratulieren.
Dies empfinde ich persönlich nicht als low quality Post sondern eher als Wertschätzung von Mitgliedern der Community. Ein "Dankeschön!" hat in meinen Augen durchaus einen Wert. Genau genommen wäre sogar das posten der Teilnehmernummer und nickname eher als low quality Post zu sehen, da der Wert des Posts ja erst entsteht wenn die gewählte Nummer gewonnen hat
Ein simples "thank you for the project" in einem Vorstellungsthread eines neuen Shittokens ist dagegen durchaus Wert gefiltert und gelöscht zu werden. Ein Bot kann dies natürlich nur schwer unterscheiden, so das hier ein glückliches Händchen des Moderators gefragt ist.

Wie siehst du diese Angelegenheit und gibt es eine generelle Anweisung an das Mod Team wie mit solchen Posts zu verfahren ist?
Bisher scheint der Bot ja noch nicht auf deutschsprachige Danksagungen anzuspringen. Ich hoffe es bleibt hier weiterhin erlaubt Wertschätzungen an andere Communitymitglieder kund zu tun. Sollte dies in Zukunft nicht mehr erwünscht sein, um die Forenqualität nicht zu verwässern, wäre ein offizielles Statement hierzu sicherlich sinnvoll. Nichts wäre schlimmer, als das aus einer nett gemeinte Geste ein Account Ban resultiert, weil es als permanentes spammen angesehen wird.

I was the one who deleted the "thank you" posts. I use a tool that scans new posts for low value content. I go through the results periodically and manually delete any posts that violate rule 1 from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0 or any other rule.

I would say that forum moderation tends to be quite strict in terms of posts that doesn't really add to the discussion (I know there isn't a lot of discussion in the collectibles anyways). It would be quite detrimental to the forum if all the account botters flocks to collectibles and starts spamming useless posts.
I don't think it's particularly fair to remove posts that express gratitude but perhaps giving a merit would be better.

Saying thank you for (free) raffles and congratulating people in said raffles (or even auctions) should not be counted as "zero or low value, pointless or uninteresting posts". Those kinds of posts are usually only deleted if the poster wears a signature campaign. You do not, you just promote a fellow cryptocurrency collectible creator. Plus, you are an active part of the collectors community.
If it was a random newbie (or someone with a signature campaign), I might understand, but I fully understand why you're pissed and, in my opinion, you have good reasons to be pissed.
I try to apply the rules consistently and unless there are exceptional circumstances, I'd rather not give select communities a pass "just because".
