Banter aside, I hate how newbies get jumped here. Granted, some have it coming, but the "old boys club" mentality just ain't gonna get it. Bitcoin is going mainstream. It ain't there yet, but it's getting there. A year ago, a few people were aware of it. Now it's front page news even in Boise, Idaho, where the newspaper has made a century long career out of being behind the times.

We desperately need new people, and jumping somebody just for being new is stupid. In nature, Stupidity is a capital crime. Judgment is immediate, utterly impartial, and there is no appeal. In modern society we have made a religion out of protecting the stupid. Since stupid is ALWAYS a choice, that religion is not only false, it's fatal.
