In fact, Lampard and his students did good performance with the counter attack when must play in the home stadium of Sevilla. Especially, Giroud had extremely impressive performance with Poker. I see when he switched to play for Chelsea, his playstyle is much softer than before. He was not only play well with head but also he uses his legs very well. Congratulate the first position for Chelsea.
Giroud 8', 54', 74', 83' (p)
What strikes me is how Chelsea might be letting Giroud go so easily in January's transfer window. They definitely need him to stay, and if he wasn't playing in this match, it definitely would've ended 0-0. That is not the kind of result Chelsea wants to have especially when facing their just-as-strong rival teams back home in the Premier League.
He said he would leave if they don't let him play more, and I think Chelsea should give in because they clearly need him for the Champions League games ahead of them.
Griroud is always underused and it's criminal that he doesn't get first team play. I thought when he left Arsenal that would change but he's always benched at Chelsea as well. I think he should go to a squad that is going to give him a first team place but I think it will be the same issue whatever big club he goes to and I'm sure that will be the case if he goes to either Juve or Inter Millan who are reportedly after him:
ITALIAN JOB Juventus join Inter Milan in Olivier Giroud transfer battle as they eye four players including Chelsea team-mate Emerson
https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/13344734/chelsea-giroud-transfer-juventus-inter-milan-emerson/I don't understand how they don't play him over Ziyech and Tammy Abraham. They brought him on only for the last ten minutes against the bore draw 0-0 against Spurs last weekend.
I'm lookign forarwd to the Chelsea/Leeds game on the weekend. Hopefully Leeds don't get spanked. I'm sure they will if Giroud starts
