Though both wallet have unique advantages and disadvantages but i prefer mobile wallet. I feel more secured and convenient using mobile wallet. But If you intend to store large amounts of crypto for long periods of time,then i would suggest cold storage methods like Ledger Nano X which is probably the best choice.
