What do you mean by choosing "50-50 probability"? Is something like this possible with slots?
I think people find playing slots entertaining exactly because it's impossible to affect the probability, and hence the potential multiplier by your settings. Basically, you never know what to expect, and that's a thrilling experience.
There is no 50-50 probability in slots IMO, even it does not exist in dice game due to the house edge.

Well, to be fair, it does exist in dice game. You can set it like this
and voila, you have a 50-50 probability of losing or winning.
Your win is going to be a little smaller than what you bet, due to the house edge, but the probability of it will be exactly 50%.
